Q. CASSIUS LONGINUS, (c.55 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.84 grams), obv. Liberty head to right, LIBERT behind, Q. CASSIVS before, rev. curule chair within circular temple of Vesta between urn and voting tablet inscribed AC, (cf.S.303 [£120], Cr.428/1, Syd.917, B.Cassia 9 [£70]). One minor banker's mark in field on reverse, very fine/good very fine and scarce.

Ex. Antiquarius, New Zealand, November 16, 1986. 60 obverse dies used for this coinage as calculated by Crawford.
