AVGVR IMP TERT around, rev. radiate head of Sol to right, III. VIR R.P.C. COS DESIG. ITER. ET. TER. around, (S.407 [£200], Cr.533/2, Syd.1199, C. Mark Antony 13 [£100]). Dark patina, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
Ex. Spink Australia, Auction, 1 October 1980 (lot 1007). Crawford has determined that less than 30 obverse dies were used for this type.
