V.R.P.C. around, rev. in two lines M.SILANVS. AVG/ Q.PRO. COS, (S.410 [£450], Cr.542/1, Syd.1208, C. Mark Antony 71 [£370]). Off centred on the obverse, attractive grey patina, good fine/very fine and rare.
Ex. Glendining's London, 18 February 1976 (lot 184). Crawford has determined that less than 30 obverse dies were used for this type.
