MARK ANTONY, (32-31 B.C.), silver denarius, mint moving with Mark Antony, (3.21 grams), obv. praetorian galley to right with rowers etc., around ANT AVG [III VIR. R.P.C.], rev. legionary eagle between two standards, LEG V below, (cf.S.414 [£120], Cr.544/18, Syd.1221, C. Mark Antony 32 [£65]). Double struck rev. on obv. and vice versa, providing clear LEG V pn one side and partial LEG V on other side. partial praetorian galley and eagle and standards on each side, fine - very fine, scarce and most interesting variety.
