HAMPSTEAD WELLS, (Mineral Springs) ticket in copper (34mm) undated but circa 1780 (D&W.74/211) stamped 63 on obverse, die fractured across obverse. Good very fine and extremely rare.
Purchased from Baldwin in 1989. Henry Vepant held the lease from Wells and Camden Charities, the tickets cost one guinea for the season.
