HANDEL FESTIVAL, 1784, ticket in silver (32mm) (D&W.133/251). Toned nearly extremely fine and very rare.

Purchased from Baldwin in 1993. The Festival was held at Westminster Abbey and the Pantheon between May and June 1784 to mark the centenary of Handel's birth. Silver passes were worn by directors of the Festival.
