JAMES SPITTLES, two quarts 1818, 1820 and quart 1820 (Pr. 24,25,26). The first with hints of red, even dark brown patina, the third similar but no red, the second only good fine. (3)

The first and third ex J.G. Gartner Collection (and probably ex Wodak), the second acquired in 1963.
