U.S.S. Somers, sunk off Vera Cruz Dec 10th 1846, in silver (58mm) by C.C.Wright, inscribed to 'T.Ibbotson' In gilt leather slip case, mount removed at top. Three large edge bumps otherwise very fine and very rare, the only presented example ever offered.

Acquired from Ray Jewell in 1969.
