EDWARD VIII, 1937 Great Britain Pattern four shillings, struck in platinum, obv. EDWARDVS VIII D:G: REX IND IMP, portrait of Edward VIII similar to that of Thomas Humphrey Paget (1893-1974) design on the United Kingdom 1937 crown; the obverse and reverse designs unpublished, the reverse features the cruciform shields similar to the 1887-1890 coinage, 36 mm, (35 grams approx). A plain edge proof, unique, FDC struck 'en medaille'.
