HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 125-8, (2.828 grams), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, drapery on far shoulder around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. around COS III, Hercules seated to right on oval shields, resting club, holding distaff and Victory, (S.1082, RIC 148, RSC 332). Very fine and an interesting reverse.
