HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 125-8, (3.216 grams), obv. bare head of Hadrian to left, drapery on far shoulder, around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. around INDVLGENTIA AVG PP, COS III in exergue, Indulgentia seated to left, holding sceptre, extending right hand, (S.-, RIC 213, cf.RSC 357). Very fine and very rare, a variant of bust not in RSC.
