LEMPRIERE & COMPANY, Hobart Town, Van Diemen's Land, currency note two Spanish dollars, 20th July 1823 (182- printed) No. L66, hand signed by Thomas James Lempriere, Entd by C.Bouch, on printed form, red-brown on white unwatermarked paper. Imprint Engraved by S C Clayton, Sydney. Edges frayed, peice missing right hand side, pinholes, part signature and 5 written in ink on back, otherwise very good.
