GERMANY, Flossenburg Concentration camp, one mark premium note, blue, issued 1944, with additional hand overstamp of Waffen SS (Campbell No. 3972b, Stahl, No.152, [p.78]). Some marks, otherwise very fine and rare.

Flossenburg built near the Czech border in Bavaria was modelled on the first women's camp Ravensbruk. This the second series of notes were issued in 1944 and the circular stamp placed on the note was the official stamp of the S.S. commander of Flossenburg. These premium notes were the only notes known to have circulated at this camp.
