HARROLD, Charles & Co., Birmingham penny, reverse 'Refined Australian copper for alloying gold' (14.628 grams), (3.0mm thickness), (not in Andrews, Renniks 187). Struck on a thick flan, even brown nearly extremely fine/extremely fine and very rare.

Ex J. Smith Collection. Most published examples seem to be struck on thin flans.
