GOLD DESPATCHES, 1852, Copies of Despatches from His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor (C.J.La Trobe) to the Secretary of State for the Colonies, 51pp., printed in 1853.

An extremely important early original document setting out the official correspondence that followed the discovery of gold in Victoria, and the dramatic effects on the Colony, keeping the British Government informed of developments.
