GOLDMINING COMPANY RECORDS AND DOCUMENTS, from 'The Belle of Wattle Flats Gold Mining Company', includes a selection of letters, documents, wages and other receipts some with duty (postage) stamps (28), progress reports for December 1872 and 2nd and 9th August 1873 (3), the first fourteen pay sheets from the company numbered 1 to 14 for fortnightly pay from the fortnight ending July 2nd 1872 (14), the company's share register, additional pages listing owners of the company's shares from 2nd December 1872 plus an accounts register with the City Bank (2). An interesting group of documents of one of Australia's early gold mining companies. Fine-very fine. 47 items.
