ITALY, Bruttium, Petelia, (280-216 B.C.), AE 20, (7.184 grams), obv. veiled head of Demeter to right, wreathed with barley, dotted border, rev. naked Zeus facing striding to left, hurling thunderbolt and holding sceptre, in two lines **PETH LINWN*, (S.678, cf.SNG Cop. 1907, SNG Munich 1548). Attractive partial green patina, good very fine and very scarce.
