EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy II, (285-246 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.13 grams), Alexandria mint, obv. head of Ptolemy I to right wearing aegis, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front **F over A, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU, (cf.S.7773, Sv. 371, SNG Cop -). Cleaned with scratches on the reverse, otherwise good very fine.
