AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE dupondius, posthumous issue, Rome mint, issued under Tiberius, issued A.D. 22-26, (13.156 grams), obv. radiate head of Augustus to left, around DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER, rev. S C across field all oak wreath, (S.-, RIC 79, BMC 143). Dark brown-black patina, nearly very fine, and rare in this condition.
