CAPTAIN COOK, silver plated medallion, 83mm, issued 1972 by Paris mint, by Helene Guastalla, (K80A, Klenman, A., The Faces of Captain Cook, 1983). Uncirculated, in box of issue.

An issue of only 100 medals. Struck to mark the 200th anniversary of Cook's Antarctic voyage, this the larger medal was issued to members of the 'Club Francaise de la Medaille' in Paris.
