MACEDON, Mende, (450-425 B.C.), silver hemiobol, (0.375 grams), obv. forepart of ass to right, rev. kantharos in incuse square, (S.1411 [£80], ACNAC Dewing 1060-1, SNG ash 2312-5, BMC 7, SNG ANS 361-7). With water corrosion, otherwise nearly fine, rare, in packet described.
