GALBA, (A.D. 68-69), silver denarius, issued late 68 - January 69, Rome mint, (3.514 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Galba, around IMP SER GALBA CAESAR AVG, rev. Livia standing to left, holding patera and sceptre, around DIVA AVGVSTA, (cf.S.2102 [£375 VF], BMC 8, RIC 186 (4), RSC 55). Toned, very fine and rare.
