GALBA, (A.D. 68-69), silver denarius, issued late 68 - January 69, uncertain Spanish mint, (3.240 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Galba, around SER GALBA IMP CAESAR AVG P M TR P, rev. S P Q R on shield surrounded by oak-wreath, (S.-, BMC -, cf.RIC 47, cf.RSC 282). Toned, flan crack, good fine/fine and apparently and unpublished die combination.
