ITALY, Campania, Naples, (c.395-385 B.C.), silver stater, (7.09 grams), obv. head of female (nymph) to right, with diadem, rev. man-headed bull to left, Nike above flying to left, below O, in exergue **NEOPOLIT[WN], (cf.S.299 [£225], Rutter 182 [obv. die 114, rev. die 165], BMC 34). Attractive grey tone, fine/good fine, very scarce.
Most examples of this period that come from this mint are worn coins. Eleven examples are known from this die combination.
