CHINA, Empire, forgery of the Kwan-Ping silver tael coin, 39mm, (36.67 g), obv. outer ring 'Chinese-Foreign Circulating Coin', 'one silver tael' in centre' rev. two dragons, centre of a linear ring, the Yin-Yang symbol and 8 trigrams, (Kann F925 [same dies]). Extremely fine with a dull blue grey tone with peripheral golden tone on reverse, rare as a Kann noted forgery.
