IMPERIAL GERMANY, Saxon Duchies (Thuringia) Infantry Line Officers model 1891 pickelhaube, an old restored composite parts example, original black leather body with a repainted gloss finish, reproduction brass officers 'Fuerst' helmet plate with white metal Saxon centre wappen, old reproduction spike and rear spine, original chin scales and original but repainted state and national cockades, reproduction leather liner and silk lining. Silk section with some damage, very fine.
