HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 134-8, obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III PP, rev. Hadrian veiled standing to left, sacrificing with patera over tripod, around VOTA PVBLICA, (S.1098, RIC 290, BMC 780). Extremely fine and scarce in this condition.
