MACEDON, Kingdom of, Philip V (220-179 B.C.), silver didrachm, (8,276 grams), issued 188-179 B.C., obv. diademed head to right of Philip with close beard, rev. club, above monogram **WZ* over **BASILEWS*, below **FILIPPOU* above two monograms of **DI* and **SI* all within an oak wreath, in left field a trident, (S.6792, cf. SNG Alpha Bank 1054, SNG Greece 4, 938, McClean 3629). Good very fine and rare.
