ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, issued A.D. 218, (4.502 grams), obv. radiate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP CAES M AVR ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around FIDES EXERCITVS, Fides seated to left, holding eagle and standard, another standard before her, (cf.S.7487, BMC 12-14, RIC 70, RSC 31a). Nearly extremely fine/good very fine and rare.
