THRACE, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.07 g), Uncertain mint, issued 297-281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, rev. Athena Nikephoros seated to left, supporting Nike, left arm on shield, spear behind, to left a monogram ATNO, in exergue **QE* monogram, to left **BASILEWS* to right **LUSIMAXOU*, (cf.S.6814, SNG Berry 407 (same obverse die), M.-, Thompson -). Toned, good very fine - nearly extremely fine.
