MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 170, (3.50 g), obv. laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around M ANTONINVS TR P XXIIII, rev. around COS III, Minerva advancing to right, with javelin and shield, (S.4885, RIC 211, RSC 123, BMC 509). Very fine, toned with blue and gold highlights, scarce.
