AUSTRALIA, cWWII, MK II Army steel helmet with original khaki painted finish, oilcloth liner and chinstrap; MK II Army steek helmet with original khaki painted finish, oilcloth liner, chinstrap and string helmet net; another, MK 11 Army steel helmet shell, no liner; Great Britain, Zuckerman civil defence steel helmet, grey painted, complete with liner and chinstrap. Last helmet in almost unworn condition, very fine. (4)
The Zuckerman helmet, officially known as Civilian Protective Helmet was a British helmet designed for use by civil defence organisations and the general public during WWII.
