GEORGE III, Bank of England dollar or five shillings, 1804 (S.3768) top leaf to left side of E and upright K to left of shield, struck from a Charles IIII eight reales, traces on reverse. Nicely toned, good very fine.

Ex T.J.Davidson Collection from the Frank McCarthy Collection in Noble Numismatics Sale 97 (lot 1653) and previously from Vincent Read. Illustrated on p7 of The Silver Crown by V.Read.
