ITALY, Bruttium, Locri Epizephyrioi, (Colony of Corinth), (c.317-300 B.C.), silver stater, (8.77 g), obv. Pegasos with pointed wing flying to left, thunderbolt below, rev. head of Athena to left in a Corinthian helmet over a leather cap, **LOK[RW]N* before head, (S.483, Calciati 13/1 [p.577], BMC 10). Toned, extremely fine and a very scarce mint.
