MACEDON. Kingdom of Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.34g), Amphipolis III mint, issued c. 323/2-316/5 B.C., obv. head of Zeus laureate to right, dotted border, rev. naked youth or small man (Philip II), on horseback to right, below **L*, star to right, above **FILIP POU*, (cf.S.6683, Le Rider Pl.44, 6, [Pl.46, p.124], Troxell Group 3, M.95). Lightly toned, extremely fine/good very fine cut in horse at edge, very scarce.
