PAEONIA, Kingdom of, Patraos, (c.340-315 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (12.41 g), obv. head of Apollo to right, with laureate, rev. horseman to right spearing fallen enemy, who holds spear and shield, around below **PATRAOU, MH monogram above left, (S.1520, Paeonian Hoard 344, [obv.276, rev.242, same dies], BMC 6, Weber 2232 [same dies]). Obverse off centred, lightly toned, otherwise extremely fine and a rare type.
