CNUT, (1016-1035), silver penny, pointed helmet type, issued 1024-1030, (0.94 g), obv. bust to left wearing pointed helmet, CNVT REX AN, around, rev. +EALFPINE ON DEODF, (Aelfpine of Thetford), (S.1158, N.787, BMC type XIV). Golden red patination on the obverse, otherwise extremely fine and scarce.
