COMMONWEALTH, (1649 - 1660), silver crown, 1654, (29.67 g), obverse with first N of England joined to outer circle, (S.3214, N.2721, ESC 7 [R3]). Attractive dark grey tone with light polishing, round and nearly very fine and very rare.

Ex Robert Tonner Collection, from Noble Numismatics Sale 92, The Cornwall Collection, November 2009 (lot 3120), previously from Spink, London, October 1988 and obtained from the Glendining Auction, London, October 3-4, 1988 (lot 216).
