ITALY, Campania, Nola, (c.385-380 B.C.), silver stater or nomos, Group II, (6.87 g), obv. female head to right, rev. man-headed bull walking to right, Nike crowning it above, legend in exergue **NOLAIO[s]*, (S.311, Rutter Group II, No.18 [obv. die 8, reverse die 12], SNG Ash 158 [same dies]). Toned, off centred, otherwise fine and rare.
