MACEDON, Terone, (c.475-465 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.98 g), obv. amphora with grape cluster hanging in front, dotted border, rev. quadripartite incuse square with granulated surfaces, (cf.S.1289, Hardwick Group II, SNG ANS 741, SNG Lockett 1371, Pozzi 735 [this coin]). Old cabinet toning, good very fine and extremely rare.
