VESPASIAN, (AD 69-79), gold aureus, Rome mint, issued A.D. 74, (7.32 g), obv. laureate head right, around IMP CAESAR VESP AVG, rev. FORTVNA AVGVST around, Fortuna standing to left on garlanded base, holding rudder and cornucopiae, (S.2251, RIC 682, C.174, Calico 632, BMC 145). A few scratches on high points, nearly extremely fine and rare.
