MARCUS AURELIUS AS CAESAR, (A.D. 161-180), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 147-148, (28.81 g), obv. bare head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG P II F, rev. around TR POT II COS II, Fides standing right holding corn ears and dish of fruit, S C across, (S.4812, RIC 1270, C.614). Light brown toning, good fine and a scarce type.
