MARCUS AURELIUS, Divus Antoninus Pius, (A.D. 138-161), AE sestertius, (23.66 g), Rome Mint, struck under Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus, c.A.D. 161, obv. bare head of Antoninus Pius to right, around DIVVS ANTONINVS, rev. rectangular altar with central doors, S C across field, (S.5200, RIC 1272 [Aurelius], C.354). Deeply toned, good fine - nearly very fine and a scarce type.
