A.I.F. on fourth medal and V357123 J.M.Davis on last medal. All medals impressed. Swing mounted, contact marks, otherwise very fine.

MSM: LG 1/1/1918, p76; CAG 18/4/1918, p848 - to 2 Warrant Officer Cl I John Morris Davis, 2nd Div HQ (Clerical) (Promoted WO Cl I 22Nov1916).

Recommendation: This Warrant Officer has been with this Division as senior Clerk in the G.Office since November 1916. Has shown great energy and ability in his work. Possesses initiative and organises work in the office well. Keeps discipline and at the same time keeps all the clerks contented and cheerful. His work has been quick, thorough and reliable.
