CANADA, Group of Five: 1939-45 Star; France and Germany Star; Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Maple Leaf clasp; Canadian Forces' Decoration (EIIR) with clasp for additional 10 years of service. First four medals unnamed, Cpl G.R.Thompson on last medal. The named medal engraved. Swing mounted, very fine - extremely fine.

Glen Ross Thompson, mechanic's helper and farm labourer, born 03Dec1924 at Melfort, Saskatchewan, Canada; commenced service 03Dec1941 at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; Served for approximately four years and then enlisted in Regular Army on 27Apr1948; Died 29Oct1984 at Saskatoon at age 59.
