Athletics fob medals, a small group won by D.Bockett from 1893 to 1902: W.A.A.C., handcrafted in gold (probably 15ct, 7.6g, 26x26mm), reverse inscribed 'W.A.A.C./Championship of Waikato/3-4-93/Won By/D.Bockett'; Te Awamutu A.A. Club, handcrafted in gold (probably 9ct, 7.3g, 27mm), reverse inscribed '100 Yds Championship/D.Bockett/9.11.94'; W.A.C.C., hand engraved in gold (18ct, 12.2g, 28x28mm), inscribed on obverse 'D.Bockett/11.4.98'; Te Awa. A.C.C, 9.11.99, hand engraved in gold (probably 18ct, 12.8g, 27x27mm), reverse inscribed 'D.Bockett/120 Hurdles'; Te Awa. A.A.C, 9.11.1900, hand engraved in gold (18ct, 12.8g, 28x28mm), reverse inscribed 'D.Bockett/120 Hurdles'; T.A.A.A.C., 9.11.02, hand engraved in gold (18ct, 12.5g, 28x28mm), inscribed on obverse 'D.Bockett'; also, hand engraved in gold (15ct, 16.3g, 30x30mm), by (beaver) (A.Beaver, Dunedin), reverse inscribed 'Mat Laurie's/Present to/Winner of/Waikato No.2/Rifle Match Held At/Te Awamutu Jan 1904'; another, hand engraved in gold (9ct, 5.4g, 33x33mm), by A.Kohn (Auckland), reverse inscribed 'No.2 W.M.R./1910/Scout Comptn/Pred.By/A.S.Wallace/Won By/-'. All with ring top suspensions, only the last two with makers' marks. All except first illustrated, extremely fine. (8)
