GREENSLADE FERNS, fern leaf brooch, handcrafted in gold (18ct, 3.20g, 41x15mm), by D Ltd D (Stewart Dawson, Dunedin), pin-back, reverse inscribed '1923-24', in case by Stewart Dawson & Co (N.Z) Ltd, Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin, Christchurch. Uncirculated.

This type of badge was presented by Mr C.F.Greenslade, managing director of Speight and Co for competition by bowling clubs, the competition known as the Greenslade Ferns. The badges were first donated by Mr Greenslade in 1915.
