JUBILEE OF THE AUCKLAND WEEKLY NEWS, 1863-1913, paper knife in nickel plated bronze (252x19mm), no maker. Oxidation and loss of plating, needs polishing and re-plating to restore to as new.

It was reported in the Poverty Bay Herald, Volume XL, Issue 13234, 17 November 1913 as follows - As a memento of the jubilee of the Auckland Weekly News, which occurred last week, the proprietors of that journal forward us a specially embossed paper knife.^^It was also reported in the Temuka Leader, Issue 7490, 18 November 1913 - We have received from the proprietors of the "New Zealand Herald" a handy paper knife bearing the follwing inscription: "Jubilee of the New Zealand Herald, 1863-1913."
