THRACE, Black Sea Area, Apollonia Pontica, (4th century B.C.), reduced silver diobol, (1.24 g), obv. Gorgoneion or Medusa head facing, rev. upright anchor, crayfish to right and A to left, (S.1657, SNG BMC Black Sea 168, SNG Stancomb 41, HGC 3.2, 1315). Toned, good very fine.
