MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 164, (3.23 g), obv. laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG ARMENIACVS, rev. around PM TR P XVIII IMP II COS III, Mars standing to right, resting on spear and shield, (cf.S.4901, BMC 264, RIC 92, RSC 469). Toned, very fine and scarce.
